OSI Restaurant Partners LLC is a company of restaurants who own and operate Outback Steakhouse.
They also own Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse &Wine Bar, and Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine. The company was founded in 1988 and is based out of Tampa Florida. The founders believe in hospitality, quality, having fun, sharing, and being courageous.
The Australian themed restaurant, Outback Steakhouse was opened in Tampa, Florida in 1988. This store was just the first of many more to come. It wasn’t until 1993 that the partnership with Carrabba’s Italian Grill was announced to the public. Just one year later, they were named “Entrepreneurs of the year” by Inc. magazine. In 2000 they partnered Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse as well as Roy’s Restaurants. One year later sprang the newest partnership with Bonefish Grill.
OSI Outback made their first of several trips to Afghanistan in 2002. Their mission was to feed our troops who were fighting to protect our country. In 2005 they joined in with the restaurant in Dine Out For America to support hurricane victims. OSI is very involved in giving back to our country and the citizens. They help out wherever they are able to.
OSI is one of the largest companies that own and operate casual dining restaurants. Outback Steakhouse restaurants are located internationally. They operate in 21 countries around the world as well as all 50 states. The first international Outback was built in Toronto, Canada in 1996. OSI Outback Steakhouse opened there 500th restaurant in 1998.
